Yes, all Miriam Quevedo products are safe for color-treated hair. Additionally, our complete range of shampoos is formulated with natural surfactants with multiple benefits that minimize color loss over successive washes (they help retain more than 96% of the color after 10 washes).

Currently, two of our hair care collections are completely vegan: Sublime Gold and Black Baccara. Their formulations are composed of 100% environmentally friendly ingredients. Due to the inclusion of Caviar Extract and Orchid, the Extreme Caviar, Glacial White Caviar, and Platinum & Diamonds collections are not vegan.

No, most Miriam Quevedo products are enhanced with fragrances created exclusively for the brand by the finest perfumers in Grasse, France. Please refer to the INCI names indicated on the back of the packaging. Fragrance appears as "Parfum/Fragrance".

Our 24k Bioactive Gold, present in the Sublime Gold collection, is a complex infused with a blend of 24k Micronized Gold and 24k Colloidal Gold, making it an extremely potent active ingredient with rejuvenating benefits. This gold optimizes the biodistribution of other ingredients for better and faster absorption, both in the hair fiber and the scalp. Additionally, it creates a true protective shield that fights aging and protects against free radicals, provides sublime luminosity, activates biological functions to help rebuild damaged cells, stimulates collagen synthesis, increases blood circulation, and acts as an antioxidant.

At Miriam Quevedo, we are firmly committed to creating the highest quality products that are cruelty-free and never subjected to animal testing. Additionally, it is important to note that animal testing is prohibited in Barcelona, Spain, where we develop all our products.

Although we use Caviar derived from sturgeon (roe) as an ingredient, we want to ensure that it is obtained in a cruelty-free manner. The sturgeons used for our Caviar come from aquaculture and do not suffer harm during the extraction process.

Our products are exclusively tested on humans and undergo clinical trials conducted by international independent laboratories, under the supervision of dermatologists and with the participation of volunteers. This allows us to guarantee that our products are highly effective and completely safe for use.

White Caviar Extract, the star of our Glacial White Caviar lines (for hair care, facial care, and body care), is one of nature's best-kept secrets in cosmetics. Rich in amino acids, proteins, essential fatty acids, trace elements, and peptides, it creates a unique anti-aging lipoprotein complex with powerful restorative, regenerative, and protective properties.

Since sun exposure is one of the main causes of premature aging, several of our products are formulated with sunscreens to protect both hair and scalp.

Currently, our skincare line does not include any products with sunscreen (SPF).

Yes, our commitment to the environment is one of our top concerns. Therefore, we are actively working to significantly reduce the use of plastic, replacing our conventional plastic with 100% recycled plastic and I'm Green™ polyethylene, a material derived from sugarcane. Unlike traditional polyethylene, which is made from fossil fuels, I'm Green™ polyethylene is produced from a renewable source that helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The paper used in our boxes and brochures is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, ensuring that it comes from responsible forest management, with social, environmental, and economic benefits.

It is important to remember that our packages are recyclable when properly disposed of. Please check local recycling regulations for more information on how to dispose of them properly.

Miriam Quevedo products should be used within a specific period. They are tested to have a standard shelf life of about four (4) years from the date of manufacture. The PAO (Period After Opening) may vary depending on the product. Please check the packaging and look for the open jar symbol, which indicates a number: 6M indicates 6 months, 12M indicates 12 months, etc. It is advisable to use the product within the indicated period after opening to ensure its optimal quality, as the formula may deteriorate after that time. Please note that our packages do not have an expiration date printed on them but rather a LOT number corresponding to the manufacturing date.

All Miriam Quevedo products are formulated to avoid allergic reactions and undergo testing by independent laboratories under dermatological supervision. If you have very sensitive skin and have experienced skin reactions when using cosmetics before, you can do a simple test: apply a small amount of the product to the inner forearm and leave it on for 24 hours. If you notice redness or any sign of reaction, the product may contain an ingredient that your skin does not tolerate. In that case, use is not recommended.

When referring to sulfates in hair care, the focus is on sulfate-derived ingredients used as cleansing (surfactant and foaming) agents in shampoos, such as sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES). These sulfate-based surfactants can be too harsh, stripping the hair's natural oils, causing color loss, scalp irritation, dryness, and are also harmful to the environment. 

At Miriam Quevedo, we choose to use 100% natural, sulfate-free surfactants, sourced from botanical and sustainable origins. These are gentler and more effective, despite generating less foam.
