The Empowered Women Decalogue - Golden Rules for Positivity in Uncertain Times 

 

We knew girls run the world even before Beyoncé gave us an anthem. If we needed more confirmation, we are getting it - and then some - seeing how countries with female leaders, like New Zealand or Finland, are at the forefront of an efficient response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Women who find strength in the toughest of time, who lead with kindness - that is who we look up to and who we aim to be. So weve pulled wisdom from our team and our community for the Empowered Women Decalogue, 10 golden rules to help us stay positive and feeling like therenothing we cant handle.  

 

1. Create your own opportunities! 

As everything is changing and shifting, make time to set in motion projects youve been thinking about for a long time! Tap into the inspiring energy of the world to reshape, rethink and realize all those great ideas. Theres not just risk in the unknown - there are also plenty of opportunities! 

 

2. Care for your body, mind, and spirit!   

Not having to commute to work and run around doing errands means some time has freed up when we spend more time at home. The perfect opportunity for some all-around self care! Take advantage of all the fantastic workouts available online and dive into your bookcase for some mental gymnastics. Keep the spirit open with meditation or a gratitude journal. Use this time to create heathy habits that will contribute to your wellbeing in the long run.    

 

3. Get your finances and your budget in order!

Whether you have regular recurring expenses or youre working up towards launching a big project of your own, budgeting will help you organize and plan for success. 4. Look your best, no matter what!
